Simple Literary Will

One of my favorite novelists and comic book writers Neil Gaiman has done all of us writers, songwriters and photographers a real solid by having a lawyer friend of his draw up a literary will. Here's a link to Neil's Blog where you'll find the downloadable PDF.

these are the things in life we really procrastinate on. ummmm...planning for death? i'm going to download this pdf, simply because i don't want to cause other people pain. a friend of mine (a woman) was living with the same man for almost 30 years. for all intensive purposes, they were considered a married couple. no one knew until the guy died that they indeed did not have a deed on their relationship. my friend got royally screwed out of everything they purchased that was in his name. their apartment, truck, boat, appliance insurances...totally unreal. regarding art and who it should be left to, well let's just say that i have a huge list of family members who just don't deserve the moneys which art only accrues after ones death.

what - do i have to die to become famous?
